Anker

Een anker wordt gebruikt om een schip mee aan de bodem van het vaarwater vast te leggen. Het anker zit dan via een ankerketting of ankerlijn vast aan de boot. Vaak zijn er speciale ankerbaaien of ankergebieden ingericht speciaal voor dat doeleinde. Ankeren scheelt vaak veel geld als je het vergelijkt met de prijzen van jachthavens.

   This is a beautiful, strduy, no-frills clock with an easy to read dial and date feature. It looks very attractive classic analog that stands out in a high-tech digital world. The quartz movement is extremely accurate. It s great for everyday use as a beater watch guy like his looks make it acceptable for both work and play and low prices make it almost carefree. The numbers and hands glow in the dark and this piece also offers the INDIGLO night light so it is highly readable in the dark. The crystal is flat than domed or rounded to make the clock more resistant to scratches and damage. My only minor complaint is the case is brushed steel and a bit shiny side. I prefer a matte finish steel. All in all, a great watch for a bit of money. I am happy with the purchase.
